Canada Blooms March 2002

(The Toronto Flower and Garden Show)

This past March 17, our society was one of hundreds who visited "Canada Blooms". A bus loaded with 54 anxious gardeners took a Saturday to visit the "largest show of this kind" in this country. The theme chosen by the Garden club of Toronto and Landscape Ontario "A Walk in the Park" was truly reflective of what the whole show was about. I hope that by looking at these few pictures, that you can get a sense of what Canada Blooms was all about.

The GWHS has 2 trips annually, Canada Blooms, and a July Trip to Nurseries in SW Ontario. We have visited, Hosta Choice, Wrightman's Alpines, Moore's Water Gardens, Canadale Nursery, Colonial Nursery, Uncommon Ground, just to name a few.
